Description
Zagrovit ES is a water soluble powder containing vitamin E and selenium. These two nutrients work synegistically to prevent cell oxidation. Vitamin E prevents formation of free-radical in cells while selenium produces enzyme glutathione peroxidase to prevent cell oxidation. This explains how these two nutrients play separate but interrelated roles in the cellular defense system against oxidative damage.
Combination of vitamin E and selenium is effective in preventing exudative diathesis in poultry and muscular dystrophy in chicks. During stress condition, vitamin E supplementation prevents drop in egg production due to depressed feed intake of layers. Positive effect on hatchability was observed with the supplementation of vitamin E and selenium in breeders. Mortality in hatchery was reduced when fed to
poultry breeders.
Supplementation of Zagrovit ES via drinking water enables superior solubility and prevents nutrient deficiency, leading to improve performance of animals.
