Lincozag

Description

Lincozag is a medicated feed premix containing Lincomycin HCl, a fast-acting and broad-spectrum antibiotic that is effective for the treatment and control of swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae, ileitis (Lawsonia intracellularis), porcine proliferative enterpathies and pneumonia (Mycoplasma synoviae or Mycoplasma gallisepticum) and necrotic enteritis (caused by E. coli or Salmonella) in broilers.

Dosage and Administration:
Species / Dosage

Swine
Treatment of swine dysentery (2 days) Mix 1.0 kg per ton of feed.

Treatment of enzoonotic pneumonia (21 days) Mix 2.0 kg per ton of feed.

Treatment of porcine proliferative enterpathies (21 days) Mix 1.0 kg per ton of feed.

Treatment of mycoplasma infection (21 days) Mix 2.0 kg per ton of feed.

Poultry
Treatment of necrotic enteritis (7 days) Mix 0.40 kg per ton of feed.

Note: Withdrawal period is 6 days (poultry) and 3 days (swine) prior to slaughter.

Contraindications:
Accidental administration in feeds may cause drop in milk production, inappetence, diarrhea and ketosis.

Storage Recommendation:
Store in cool and dry place; protected from heat and light.
