Zadoxyl contains Doxycycline Hyclate, a broadspectrum antimicrobial acting on aerobic and anaerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma, rickettsiae, chlamydiae, and even some protozoa (amoebae). Doxycycline will inhibit the synthesis of protein within susceptible organisms resulting to their death.
Zadoxyl prevents and treats Complicated Chronic Respiratory Diseases (CCRD), Coryza, Fowl Cholera and E.coli infections in poultry. For swine it is effective against respiratory infections such as Aetinobacillus pleuropneumonia, Haemophilus parasuis and Mycoplasma pneumonia. It is also indicated for the treatment of Leptrospirosis, E.coli, Pasteurella and Salmonella infections.
